Patrick Mazzella has known he wanted to be a DJ since the onset of his teenaged years, receiving his first set of turntables at the age of 14. After dedicating all of his time to practicing, his talents progressed to a new level. Starting out small, DJ Mazz began entertaining at school dances and charity events. After positive feedback from guests, DJ Mazz began to receive requests for larger events, such as proms and corporate gatherings. Attendants of these events were impressed by the skills of DJ Mazz and began to encourage him to extend his talent into something bigger. DJ Mazz began attending SAE, a school for audio engineering in NYC and his talent was scouted at an after hours workshop. This was DJ Mazz's debut at his first night club. After showcasing his obvious ability to get the late night crowd moving, he was able to gain other opportunities in the clubs of New York City. DJ Mazz often appeared at clubs, including Liquid Lounge, Citrine, spirit, and Mad Hat. DJ Mazz also performed at Nike Town in support of the New York City Marathon.

At age 18, Mazzella felt that it was time to show the world that his DJing skills were high above the rest and began the construction of his own entertainment company. He began producing artists including The Roots, Fabolous, and D.O.E. DJ Mazz did not limit his production to hip-hop, however, and also produced Indie artists that obtained air time on 103.5 and other area radio stations.

Today, DJ Mazz Entertainment has grown into a well known entertainment company, providing talent far above the rest of the competition. DJ Mazz maintains the title of Resident DJ at the Cellar Lounge in Hamilton, NJ where regular guests appear on a nightly basis to hear him spin. His entertainment company works each day to ensure that customers are provided with the most well-trained and skillful talent representatives.
